Skateboarders and supporters from around the Capital Region rallied to the Amsterdam Skatepark on a beautiful Saturday afternoon recently to help raise money for an After-School Skateboarding program in Amsterdam.

The event, titled Grind for Good, was hosted by W1SHFU1:TH1NK1NG Foundation and featured a number of competitions, raffles, vendors and giveaways. Nearly 40 participants of all ages came out to compete and enjoy the day, testing their skills in everything from games of S.K.A.T.E. to hot-dog eating contests. Sponsors for the event included Sticker Mule, Stewart’s Shops and Seasons Skate Shop.
