A bored tradie built an epic man cave during Melbourne's snap two-week lockdown, complete with a TV, fairy lights, and beanbags.

Mikee Carlo, a carpenter, documented the process on his TikTok account and shared the final result with his followers on Wednesday.

'So I built a man cave during lockdown and here's how it went', the video caption reads, as he and two friends lay long plywood beams in his backyard.

The tradies constructed the man cave from the bottom up, installing four walls, a roof, and a front door.

Mikee cut more wood to reinforce the walls, before running electrical wiring through the space to power a tv and lights.

The carpenter packs the walls with sound shield to improve the acoustics inside and keep the space warm.

Once power-points are installed, Mikee decorates the shed with fairy lights, curtains, a rug, a large TV and some chairs.

To personalise his epic man cave, he lines the walls with posters and places a large blue beanbag in one corner.

'The talent is unreal', one user wrote.

'Sheesh, that's it. I'm going to Bunnings and building one', another inspired user commented.

'Man's doing two or three trades at once. Keep up the good work!', another wrote.

'He just added $500,000 to the value of his property', a fourth user commented.

Mikee has since posted videos of himself using his new space, by practising freestyle routines as part of his dance troupe, Gnome Boys.
