Greece’s representative Katerine Duska with “Better Love” did not manage to get higher than 21st place in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel late on Sunday night.

Cyprus, represented by Tamta singing “Replay”, did slightly better getting 15th place with 101 points, while the winner was the Netherlands with the heartbreaking “Arcade” sung by Duncan Laurence, a solid favorite since the qualifiers.

While expectations were much higher, Katerina Duska did not manage to impress the audience and critics, ending with only 71 points in the votes.

The opening show was spectacular, while super star Madonna, surprisingly, failed to impress as a guest performer.

Typically, as in every Eurovision contest, Greece gave Cyprus the full 12 points and Cyprus did the same for Greece.
